Reflecting on Issue

I chose wildlife poaching as my issue for the argumentative piece because I feel very strongly for the destruction of ecosystems, killing of animals, and disregard for our planet's health. However, this issue is not only important to me, since so many ecosystems are being pushed to their limit by illegal hunting. This could affect local communities surrounding these ecosystems, as well as overall environental effects, due to the snowball effect of poaching that can lead to ecosystem collapse. There have been many solutions proposed to combat wildlife poaching; such as patrols, incarceration, and fines. However, it seems as though the approach is different for every region. Causing a big question mark in what can help us tackle this global issue.
